Column Casings

An architectural feature that encloses primary steel work or unsightly industrial finishes such as concrete. Column casings offer the designer with opportunities to enhance the appearance of a building.

Column Casings

Architectural column casings can be used to enclose primary structures e.g. steel and concrete beams and columns. It also has the added advantage of covering exposed services, incorporate lighting and air handling, whilst providing an attractive feature.

Column casings are usually circular, but square and rectangular are additional options. There is a number of jointing options available ranging from shadows gaps to flush finish joints internal brackets and supports can be supplied to suit site conditions. The most common material used is aluminum, which is robust, and can be powder coated to create stunning architectural focal points.

Stainless steel in a brushed finish is an alternative, which is more suited to in door retail applications.
